- Susan McConnell shared that there is now a full slate of officers for the next term (July – December) and that we will vote on officers next week. The slate (below) is not limiting as anyone can be nominated so any interested parties who are not part of the nominated slate are welcome to run for any position. Please let Susan know if you’re interested or arrange to be nominated from the floor at next week’s meeting. The nominated slate is:

- Minutes from last week’s meeting were reviewed and approved.
New Business:
- Tom Terrific moved that we hold a Table Topics and Humorous Speech contest on August 30, 2017 as it will be the 5th week of the month. The motion was approved and it was announced that Tim Sullivan and Stacy Duncan will chair the contest.
Announcements:
- The next TLI session will be June 24 from 8:00 – 12:00 at Webster University. It will include officer training, networking breakfast, breakout sessions and a raffle. Please see Adam for more details
- Jim Bubash shared that he and Dave Domian have been working on the July 9, 2017 club picnic and that each member is asked to bring a dish to share. The event will be held at Crestwood Park. He further reminded everyone about a separate fundraising event (Muscular Dystrophy) featuring an excellent Spanish guitarist. Information was passed out and he will share more about this as the date gets closer.
