New Business: Jim Bubash mentioned a suggestion from members to have a public address system available for members who would like to use PA as a speaking tool. There was discussion that tabled the suggestion/motion until a quorum was present to address.
Carol Lindwedel, VPM, announced and confirmed receipt of new application and dues from Lauren Ritter. She motioned that we accept Lauren Ritter as a new member; Jerry Paul seconded the motion. The motion passed with a verbal consensus of the motion. Lauren was subsequently inducted; Gina Willard is her mentor.
Jack Carter will need a replacement mentor as a result of Sudi Gopinath’s recent announcement that he will be leaving our group next month.

Correspondence & Announcements: Matt Ramshaw congratulated Alan Kirby for representing our club at the Toastmaster Spring Conference May 3rd and placing 2nd in his 30th speaking competition appearance!!
