Last week, the South County toastmasters said "see you soon" to fellow toastmaster, Brian Ettling. He and his wife are moving to Portland, Oregon and we are wishing them both all of the best in their next big adventure! Brian was also given his Advanced Communicator Bronze award!

Congratulations to Rob VanWinkle who has earned the DTM award - Distinguished Toastmaster Award. This is the highest award bestowed by Toastmaster International and shows that Rob has excelled in both communication and leadership skills.

Recently our own Brent Stewart was honored as the winner of the "Kiwanian of the Year" award by the Crestwood-Sunset Hills Kiwanis Club. Congratulations to Brent from everyone in our club.

Congratulations to fellow SCTM member Brain Ettling! He has authored a half-page editorial in today's edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on ecological advocacy. Brain is one of the few SCTM members to achieve the distinction of writing editorial subjects.
