President Debbie Young asked if there were any corrections or additions to be made to the meeting minutes of July 27, 2022. The minutes were approved as posted.
Officer Reports:
President: Debbie Young.
- In response to Sean Sheehan’s comment during the meeting last week regarding Howard Brandt’s name displayed on the SCTM website as a current member, Debbie Young has removed Howard’s name as a current member.
- Debbie Young and Tom Krauska (Terrific) met with Brendan, the TMI Area Director for SCTM. Brendan should be visiting a SCTM meeting within the next 4-6 weeks.
- The August 10, 2022 meeting will be online via Zoom only. Debbie will send a link to all Club members for the meeting later this week.
VPE: Callie Koehr.
- On August 31, 2022 SCTM will host a special themed meeting, which will be an All Table Topics meeting. This often happens on the 5th Wednesday of the month. There will be 3 sessions of Table Topics. Callie still needs an “Ah Counter” and a “Vote Counter” for this meeting. All Club members are encouraged to participate.
- Callie presented a tracking log for the progress of SCTM achieving the President’s Distinguished Toastmaster Award. The Club is on track and goals will be monitored throughout the year.
- Callie has received many of the President’s Distinguished Toastmaster Pledge Forms from Club members. She has others to distribute if anyone still needs a form. Please return the completed forms to Callie.

New Businesss: Liz DeCamp reported the Toastmaster International Convention will be held online and in person in Nashville, TN on August 17 – 20, 2022. All Club members should have received an email from TMI that included the link for registration.
