The Youth Leadership Program is a concentrated Toastmasters workshop for children from the ages of 12 – 17. The workshop consists of seven sessions that enable participants to develop communication and leadership skills through practical experience. Participants Learn To:
- Evaluate present speaking ability
- Organize and give speeches
- Give impromptu talks
- Control voice, vocabulary, and gestures
- Give constructive feedback
- Feel comfortable speaking in front of others
Dates: The program is presented on Tuesday’s beginning September 19 thru November 7 (skipping October 31). Then the 8th meeting will be graduation at an official South County Toastmasters meeting on Wednesday, November 15. (Parents, grandparents, and other family members are invited to attend the graduation.)
