- Victor Mattison announced Stacy Duncan has agreed to help him introduce new members to mentors and Mark Esswein for also helping out get a program started and improve the mentoring program
- Rich Puskarich reminded everyone that TM renewals are due. Please give Rich a check for $51 made out to South County Toastmasters
- Geoff announced area contest this Saturday at 4 at the Grant’s View Library – details below:

Unfinished Business:
- Jim Salih stated that his one concern about the upcoming Youth Leadership Program is that it may be inundated with too many adults in attendance which could possibly intimidate the youth who are taking the classes. Most parents will be in attendance because they have no other place to go once they drop off their children, so he is asking that any curious Toastmasters wanting to attend should check with him first. The idea is not to discourage attendance by TMs, but to make sure that the children don’t get overly nervous by too many adults in attendance. We all know what getting nervous before a speech is like.
New Business:
- Adam Kutell announced that Erin Gissel placed first in his other club’s contest (competitive club) and he got second place
Announcements:
- We are currently trying to fix our regular amp for speakers, though we do have a backup at the moment
- Backup amp is capable of using two microphones at the same time if you should need it to
