- Jim Salih reported that the wireless microphone is now working. Anyone that is interested to use it should come early to learn how to use it and to get it all setup. Thanks to Sarah Pitkin for granting the club a non-perpetual license to use her equipment. We’ll enjoy it as long as she is willing to let us use it. Jim also demonstrated the function of the new microphone clip and reminded us that there is an ON/OFF switch on the microphone itself.

Announcements:
- Kathy Denton sent a clarification to last week’s minutes regarding her panel discussion. It is to be held on October 19 at Washington University. The specific date and university were omitted from the last minutes.
- Please remember that the Club Officer Training is in 10 days – Saturday, January 28 at First Evangelical Free Church in Manchester. Please register in advance – https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Y9BVNV7. If this link does not work properly please let Adam Kutell know as it seems to be a little flaky. This is important for club officers but there are interesting learning opportunities for all club members. The event will be held at Webster University from 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
- Max Kaiser advised that there are judging opportunities available for the 2017 Gorlok Gala Speech Tournament on January 27-29, 2017. The tournament is going to be held at Webster University. Anyone interested to learn more should contact Max. Information about the tournament is available at https://www.forensicstournament.net/GorlakGala/17
- Susan McConnell informed everyone that she is working on the February schedule and asked that any requests or special considerations be shared with her by this coming Saturday.
