Here’s a note from Adam K about the District conference.

All members,
As I announced at the meeting earlier this week, the District 8 Fall Conference is Friday evening Nov 14 and most of the day on the 15th.
Our club has paid for our admission (any number of members of our club who want to attend, and their guests). This admission includes access to all presentations, educational sessions, and contests. The only thing it does not include any food (marked on the form with “A La Carte Meals Only”). You can attend without purchasing any meals.
I understand the registration form might be confusing, and there have been several conversations between other District 8 officers on how it might seem misleading. Just keep in mind, the only thing you would need to pay for (as a member or guest of South County Toastmasters) is for food. Check the “Yes” box next to “Did you register with a club?” and submit your form as soon as possible.
