Congratulations to Jim Ruzicka and Joanne Korba on receiving the Toastmasters Full Circle Award.

Old Business:
South County Toastmasters is doing a club exchange with the Jeffco Challengers on Thursday, November 3rd. We are in need of a volunteer to evaluate.

New Business:
VP of Membership – Judy Sowers wanted to acknowledge those who bring guests to the meetings. An award will be given to those that bring 3 guest (could be the same guest 3 times) within one year. Motion was voted on and passed.
We have achieved 4 of 10 items needed to accomplish the Distinguished Club Award.
Howard Brandt has written a letter to send to the building management thanking them for allowing us to use their facilities. Kathy Denton will type out the letter and bring it to the next meeting for the club to review before sending it out.
The meeting before Thanksgiving has been cancelled. The motion was presented, voted on and passed.

Correspondence & Announcements:
District Contest is Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19. The Table Topics will be held on Friday and Humorous Speeches will be on Saturday. The contest will be held in Jefferson City, MO.
November 30th is the 5th Wednesday of the month. Anyone who is working in an Advanced manual and has longer speeches should see Carl. This meeting we will have speeches that normally are 10+ minutes in length.
