President: Brent Stewart: Reminder: District Conference is on Saturday, May 16th at Orlando’s (4300 Hofmeister) Noon to 4pm Contest begins at 1:30pm (Joseph Parks is competing) Members are encouraged to attend the contest (which is free if your not participating in the luncheon)
South County Toastmasters received an award from Toastmasters International for adding five new or reinstated members between February 1 and March 31, 2026. Benefits: 10% discount on the next club order from the Toastmaster store. Our Club will also receive an achievement ribbon which will be delivered to Debbie Young for archive. Anticipation of another ribbon for achieving “Specially Distinguished Club” status, possibly to be awarded on Saturday or after July 1.
VPE: Jim Salih: Google form for June scheduling has been sent out; members are to respond by May 18, 2026. There was a query about possible disruptions to December and summer meetings due to the community center’s farmers market. Feedback from Nick and Brian indicated no impact; however, it was decided to verify this information again.
