President: Brent Stewart: Reminder: District Conference on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Orlando’s, 4300 Hofmeister. Joseph Parks will compete for the district humorous speaking championship.
Recent District Council Meeting: District 211 boundaries approved and new officers elected.
VPE: Jim Salih: New Online Member Application: Introduced by Nick Murphy; replaces paper forms with a Google Forms process.
Vintage Paths: For members who have completed at least one Pathways level. Converts the old book-style learning into PDFs. Two vintage paths available; $60 each.
Upcoming Club Events: Next meeting (April 29th): Themed speeches on “How Toastmasters Helps Me in the Real World.”
VPM: Sylvia Awondatu A Members Interest Survey is available in both hardcopy or online. Members encouraged to complete the survey to help tailor the club’s activities and ensure they meet member interests.
VPPR: Debbie Young Debbie presented our Club’s new banner bag that was approved for purchase and is successfully protecting the banners.

Committee Reports: Nominating Committee: Led by Victor Mattison, along with Bill Collier and Colleen Flynn. The Team is actively seeking officer candidates. Encouraging both experienced and new members to consider serving, with new members invited to assistant roles. Slate report due by May 20, 2026. Club elections scheduled for June 3, 2026
New Business:
Correspondence and Announcements: Bocce and Golf Outing: Scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026 (Tower Tee in Afton). Eight spots reserved for golf; six tables filled, two spots open, possible to expand if demand grows. The event is beginner-friendly, focused on fun rather than skill or competition. Bocce will run similarly.
