President: Brent Stewart: The District Conference to be held at Orlando’s, 4300 Hofmeister on May 16th. Registration:$27 (or $22 for early payment). Please use the code “District 8 Dollars” if you paid your April 2026 dues early. The fee includes a lunch buffet and many “learning” opportunities.Joseph Parks will represent SCTM club in the Humorous Speech contest.
VPE: Jim Salih: Bocce & Golf Social Event (June 27th 2026) SCTM has hosted bocce events for the last three years at Tower Tee in Afton, combining fun, games, and camaraderie. Golf option (par 3) available before bocce, handled independently by Bill Collier; participants pay Golf fees individually. Awaiting a decision regarding the possibility for individuals to watch the contest without paying the registration fee, as has been allowed in past years. Currently under discussion with no definitive answer.
Google form sent out for scheduling purposes; members to confirm receipt.
The April 14th Youth Leadership Graduation was a complete success. Great positive energy and fun for everyone.
Working to complete the SCTM “Full Circle” Awards. Members are eligible if they complete all club roles between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026. Additional awards to be distributed at this meeting.
Officer Training is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026. Members are reminded to consider this event for the next term.
VPM: Sylvia Awondatu A Members Interest Survey is available in both hardcopy or online. Members encouraged to complete the survey to help tailor the club’s activities and ensure they meet member interests.
VPPR: Debbie Young Debbie Young announced her receipt of the Archival Box to safely store club historical artifacts.
