On October 5, 2022, the members of South County celebrated the 47th anniversary of the founding of the Club. Members and former members were invited to share stories and memories of their experiences with South County Toastmasters. A former member, Carl Hendrickson, spoke of how the founder of the Club, Howard Brandt, established South County Toastmasters with excellence and high standards. A current member, Brent Stewart, shared his insights on the history of the Club. Other current members were recognized for their educational achievements in Toastmasters. Members were also recognized for their service as Club officers and leadership positions in District and Area Toastmasters. South County Toastmasters has received numerous awards over the years, including the President’s Distinguished Club Award, for 11 consecutive years. Awards and ribbons received by the Club were on display for everyone to peruse. This was a great evening of celebrating the success of South County Toastmasters and of acknowledging Howard Brandt, the founder.
