President Patrick Hunt asked if there were any corrections or additions to be made to the meeting minutes of December 1, 2021, hearing none, the minutes stand as posted.

- Patrick reported on the slate of officers for next term starting in January

- The club election will be held December 15 by a majority of the members present.
- Other members may be nominated that night in place of those who are on the proposed slate.
Correspondence and Announcements:
- Kathy Denton reported that she has 4 nominations for her High Performance Leadership and the awards will be given to worthy Communications Leaders at our January 12 meeting. Kathy made a motion to this effect, seconded by Sean Sheehan. The motion passed unanimously. Kathy requested that we bring snacks for this special event.
- Jim Salih announced that Toastmasters International has moved up the starting dates for the 2022 International contests, which means that we must hold our club contests earlier than we have been accustomed, so it is not too early to be thinking about participation in either or both of the International Speech or Evaluation contests. Our club contest will probably take place in very late January or early February. Normally, the top 2 finishers of the club contests go on to the area contests, but that isn’t always certain.
- JD Perper wants to know if you will be attending his concert this coming Saturday. If so, please let him know. Refer to JDs earlier email about details of the concert.
