President Patrick Hunt asked if there were any corrections or additions to be made to the meeting minutes of Sep 15, 2021, hearing none, the minutes stand as posted.

- VPPR Liz DeCamp:
- Liz has been in contact with Sunset Hills and has gotten the SCTM name in the directory. She will check to see if that includes listing our meetings on the Sunset Hills calendar of events.
- Liz asked if someone would be able to tweak a TMI brochure to better reflect our club’s specific needs but we are concerned that it may violate copyright licenses. Liz will check with TMI.
- VPM Sandy Roll:
- Founder’s Day will be celebrated on Oct. 20 at Sunset Hills; bring a visitor.
- Oct. 27 is Ghost Story night; bring a ghost story and dress the part. Check with Sandy about your participation. Also, bring a visitor.
- Treasurer. Brent Stewart:
- Brent reminded us that dues are due. Send $76 ASAP to: Brent Stewart, 5404 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63123. Make checks payable to South County Toastmasters. Brent will not be present at the September 29 meeting. We have had 21 renew their memberships so far. It is best for our drive to President’s Distinguished that we get all dues in by Oct. 1.

- Kathy Denton reminded us to keep working on Pathway projects so the club can build towards TMI goals.
- Patrick Hunt announced a board meeting on September 30, on Zoom only, that all club members can attend. The meeting’s topic is “rebuilding our membership.”
Sandy announced:
October 20 – SCTM’s 1st annual FOUNDER’S DAY MEETING! Our club was started in October 1975 by Howard Brandt. Of course we’ll recognize Howard at this meeting, along with current members for their various accomplishments such as competing in contests at and above the club level, serving as officers at the area through district level and more. We’ll have food, drink and fun! BRING A GUEST – ESPECIALLY A PROSPECTIVE MEMBER!
October 27 – GHOST STORY CONTEST! Got a favorite story about spirits, vampires or other scary creatures? Sign up for our contest. Whether you are telling a story that night or not, come in costume. BRING A GUEST – ESPECIALLY A PROSPECTIVE MEMBER!
