President Patrick Hunt asked if there were any corrections or additions that needed to be made to the meeting minutes of August 18, 2021, hearing none, the minutes stand as posted.

- The September meeting schedules are sent out, please check them.
- Bill is planning a Founders Day meeting to recognize our members for their accomplishments. He may cook hot dogs as part of the recognition. Bill expects to start these Founders Day recognition celebrations in September.
- VPPR Liz DeCamp:
- Liz reported that she received reimbursement for the flowers for Loretta Brandt and thanks us for that.
- She is resigning her post as VPPR immediately because she is not receiving the information that she needs to perform her job effectively. Patrick and Liz will speak about the situation after the club meeting to try to help her do her job more effectively
- VPM Sandy Roll: not present

New business – A motion was made by Jim Salih and seconded by Brent Stewart for the club to donate $50.00 in the name of John Cleary to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as recommended by his family in John’s death notice. The vote passed unanimously. It is hoped that individual members can donate money to add to the club’s initial $50.00. Jim Salih will email donation information to club members ASAP.
