President Patrick Hunt asked if there were any corrections or additions that needed to be made to the meeting minutes of August 4, 2021, hearing none, the minutes stand as posted.

- VPPR Liz DeCamp:
- Liz offered to buy the flowers for Loretta Brandt with her husband’s Schnucks discount. The members authorized this
- Liz is investigating advertisements in the Riverfront Times. This will be discussed at an Executive Board meeting before taking a membership vote.
- She would also like to create an advertisement poster board for posting outside our meeting door to let Sunset Hills patrons know that we meet there. This will be discussed at an Executive Board meeting before taking a membership vote.

- Secretary Jim Salih: none
- Sgt-at-Arms JD Perper: none
Committee reports – none
Correspondence or Announcements – Callie Koehr announced that she accepted a full-time Kindergarten teaching position starting this school year. Jim Salih announced that Jeff Hoehn gave a 70 minute speech on nutrition before an outside audience. Kathy Denton announced that she received a much coveted award in her professional field and she thanked SCTM for their support especially the three members who wrote letters of reference for her to be enrolled in security school.
Unfinished business – A motion was made by Jim Salih, seconded by Debbie Young and voted in the affirmative by the membership for the club to transfer our proxy votes to the District Director for he/she to cast at the Toastmaster International Convention.
New business – A motion was made by Brent Stewart, seconded by Rob VanWinkle to spend up to $100.00 for funeral flowers for Loretta Brandt. After a long discussion it was decided that the maximum spent should be $65.00 by the club, but individual members may add to that at their personal discretion.
