    • Minutes of the August 5 meeting were sent out, hearing no change requests they were approved as sent and posted.
  • VPE – Kat Higashino –
    • September will have 5 weeks so Kat suggested we hold a meeting to allow members to progress in Pathways.  It will be voted upon in New Business.
  • VPM – Brent Stewart
  • VP-PR – Partick Hunt
  • Secretary – Kathy Denton
  • Treasurer – Kim Bond
    • Dues of $76 are due by September 15th.  Either bring your payment to a meeting in person and give it to Jerry Paul, or mail it to the address Kim will send us in an email.

Unfinished Business:

• • Jerry reported that the Executive Committee met and agreed to assign our club proxy votes to Patrick Hunt.  That information has been entered into the District 8 website.

New Business:

• Kathy Denton said it is hard to find the meeting link among all the emails about the meeting and suggested that the person who sends the meeting link include the word, “link” in the subject line along with the meeting date and time.  Kat suggested that Toastmasters also include the link with the agenda.
• Patrick Hunt announced that as our Area Director he would be observing to evaluate our meeting.
• Jerry said that Toastmasters International will hold their National Convention and business meeting August 24 through August 29th.
• Debbie made a motion that the last week of September be used to work on Pathways projects.  It was seconded, voted upon and passed.

Announcements:

• Kat announced that Bill Collier will be the Toastmaster next week.  She also recommended that each week the Toastmaster send out the meeting role notification email promptly to give everyone time to prepare for their roles.
