Committee Reports:
Sean Sheehan reported that his committee is in the process of implementing the ideas shared and approved last week. Proposed that the club join the Crestwood-Sunset Hills Chamber of Commerce with over 200 corporate and 1000 individual members.
Upon a motion and second, the motion passed without dissent.
We received word that as of July 18th, the city will be allowing organizations to utilize the meeting rooms however with a few changes;
-New hours – the center will close at 8pm
-Conference style room (tables/chairs – only 15 people
-Theater style (chairs only) – 35 people
We were asked whether we want the room reservation under the new hours (6 -8pm instead of 7 -9, every Wednesday and if we’re ok with the new maximum # of people for the room until St. Louis County allows more. We should have discussion about this to give some feedback to Sunset Hills soon as we don’t want our night to be reassigned to another group. However, the final decision should be made by the incoming officer team.
Debbie Young shared that she is conducting an online Pathways Training session – Tuesday, June 23, 7:30 – 8:30pm. It is free and Debbie encouraged all members to attend. For more information please contact Debbie or register online at https://dist8tm.org/training/
