Unfinished Business:

New Business:
- Jim Bubash – Giving a gift to past president is a tradition of the club. He bought a gift for Adam and Kathy. Is that something we want to continue to do or we shouldn’t do further. Howard Brandt – we’ve done this for the past 50 years or so and he thinks it’s a reasonable thing to do for all of the work the past president did during her or his term. Jim – gifts have been under $15 each time. Discussion held. Consensus reached to continue this tradition. Howard – It has been the new president’s responsibility to get the gift for the past president
Correspondence and Announcements:
- Jim Bubash – Division A makeup training has been scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Jefferson County Library in Arnold, Missouri. Doors open at 2:45 and training is from 3-4
- Jerry Paul – The presentation last week where he was an interviewer was from a manual. The manual has another project where one is the interviewee. He plans to do that project and he’d like to work together with someone who is giving the interviewer speech so they both could get credit at the same time
- Mary K. Spencer – Club is organizing the Youth Leadership Classes to begin 9/25. The program is mainly for those ages 10-17, but younger participants have been accepted in the past. She will discuss with Phil Gawlak about holding the classes at his new, larger location in the same plaza as before, but in a different unit
- Jim Bubash – He would like to take pictures of tonight’s meeting to put on the Meet Up web site. There were no objections.
