Officers’ Reports:
President – Executive board just met. Couple goals discussed. Very excited for the upcoming term.
Officer Reports:
- Debbie Young – Speech contest will be February 28. Kate Schafroth will lead the contest and the theme will be international speech and evaluation. Please respond to Kate Schafroth and Debbie Young if you want to take one of the roles for this contest

New Business:
- Jim Bubash – Ordered 2,500 perforated vote/evaluation sheets. Would like to be reimbursed for the $137.00 he spent. Jim made a motion that he be reimbursed and Tom Terrific seconded. Motion was unanimously approved. He ordered the blank forms and asks for anyone who can photocopy the material onto them to accept a bundle of 500.
- Jim Salih – Speechcrafters program – This is an intense 8 week program that can be used as a jump start before joining Toastmasters. Fee paid for Speechcrafters program can be applied to club dues if participant joins South County Toastmasters after completing the program. Jim moved to allow him to get Speechcrafters started. Tom Terrific seconded the motion. Adam Kutell moved to amend the motion to allocate $50.00 seed money to get program up and running. This motion was seconded and approved unanimously. The amended motion to initiate a Speechcrafters program and allot $50.00 seed money to start the program was passed unanimously. Jim announced that someone must lead the program when he is on vacation. Adam announced the District would like us to document the program so it can market it also.
Correspondence and Announcements:
- Tom Terrific – Pathways – begins in about 1 month. He put related files on club’s laptop. We can bring a thumb drive to get access to them to see on line. He can also give authority to look at Google docs.
