New Business:
- Geoff King, new member application for Jean Broida. Carl Hendrickson moved she be admitted, Sean Sheehan seconded; unanimous vote to admit her
- Geoff King, club needs to schedule club contest before March district contest. He moved to schedule for 2/28. Seconded by Jean Broida. Motion passed unanimously
Correspondence and Announcements:
- Kate Schafroth – Will do a speech on Toastmasters existing training program that Pathways program will replace
- Jim Salih – Would like to initiate a Speechcraft program. This is similar to the Youth Leadership program, but for adults. Would be held at the regular meeting location before the Wednesday meetings. Speechcraft is an opportunity for experienced Toastmasters to present the fundamentals of public speaking to non-members.
- Jim Salih – Would like to initiate another Youth Leadership program. Please consider leading this program as Stacy Duncan may not be able to do it this session. Youth Leadership is a series of workshops helping those under 18 develop communication and leadership skills.
- Geoff King – Division A will hold make up officer training. Please attend if you are an officer that has not yet attended training. It will be conducted by the Director of Division A Parshu Anantharam on Saturday January 20th from 10:00 – 11:00 am in the Jeffco Library Arnold at 1701 Missouri State Rd., Arnold, Mo. 63010. Other Divisions also have make up training on different dates
