Officers’ Reports:
- Tom Terrific reminded everyone that he is collecting dues now and asked everyone to pay soon. Ten members have already paid. Please see Tom to get your dues ($51) paid as soon as possible
- Adam Kutell reported that there are a few Area 8 membership contests coming up during the balance of the 1st and 2nd quarter. We have an opportunity to earn money for the club – details here: http://www.dist8tm.org/#club_growth_incentives. Adam will be sending additional details shortly
Committee Reports:
- Susan McConnell reminded us that March 29 will be the Tall Tales Contest. There are already a number of speakers confirmed. She will be sending an email in the next week asking for speakers and help as she has several roles yet to fill. Please contact Susan if you can help.
- Susan McConnell shared that the Area 4 contest is March 11 (next Saturday) and that Alan Kirby and Erin Gissel are participating. The doors open at 1:30, briefings begin at 2:00 and the contest is supposed to start at 2:30. Please try to make it and get there early.
- Sarah Pitkin shared an excellent idea to promote growth of the club. She proposed that we pick a date on which everyone is encouraged to bring a guest. We would plan some food and refreshments to make the guests feel more welcome. The idea was well received and Sarah said she would send a note asking for suggested days.
Unfinished Business: Minutes from last week’s meeting were reviewed and approved.

Announcements:
- Susan McConnell reminded us that the last week in March will be the Tall Tales Contest. There are already two speakers confirmed. She will be sending an email in the next week or two asking for speakers and help.
- Tom Terrific said butterfly season is upon us and said he had seeds if anyone is interested.
- Susan McConnell will be working on the April schedule next week. Please let her know if you have any scheduling needs or preferences
