Meeting Minutes – November 30, 2016

Unfinished Business –
Jim Salih reported the wireless microphone is not working and needs to be replaced.  Sarah Pitkin has a wireless microphone that she is willing to donate to the club. She will bring it to the meeting next week.

New Business –
Brent Stewart announced the Holiday Party will be on December 14th from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PMat the Lemay Pavilion in Jefferson Barracks Park.  SCTM members are encouraged to give donations to cover part of the cost of the party.  The club will provide a meat tray.  Sign-up sheets for the potluck will be passed around during the meeting.

Tim Sullivan, VP Education, made a motion to cancel the SCTM meetings for December 21 and December 28.  The motion carried.

Tim Budd, VP Membership, made a motion to consider the membership application of  Mark Nelson. After discussion, the motion carried.  President, Dean Bone conducted the induction of new member, Mark Nelson.  Jim Salih will serve as Mark’s mentor.

Announcements –
Tom Terrific announced there will be training on December 17th for District 8 Judging Contests.  He will post details on the SCTM website.

Susan McConnell announced the final slate of officers for the January – June, 2017 term, which will be voted on next week. The slate is listed below:
