Alan Kirby placed first and Erin Gissel placed 3rd in the division contest on April 19th.
Alan Kirby will compete in the International Speech Contest Saturday May 3rd at the District 8 2014 Spring Conference in Jefferson City MO.

Correspondence & Announcements:
Gina Willard reminded us that we will need new officers for the second term; July-December 2014. She encouraged each of us to consider an officer role for this term.
Carl Hendrickson shared with us that Max Kaiser, Jr. made a presentation on StL250th Anniversary History— the Lives and Careers of Urban Renewal Pioneer StL Mayor Henry W. Kiel and TV pioneer Charlotte Peters to the Webster Groves Chapter AARP at Webster Groves Christian Church on Lockwood Blvd, Monday, April 21st, at 11 a.m. About 20 persons were in attendance, and expressed their thanks to the Speakers Bureau and Max for facilitating this timely historical presentation.
On June 21 2014, Sudi and Shreya will co-chair the TLI conference at UMSL. Please contact Sudi or Shreya for volunteer opportunities.
