If you are the camcorder operator, it’s good to check the audio volume just in case someone has been playing with the buttons and changed the settings. Here is how to do that.
The first thing to do after you turn on the camera is to click on the HOME button on the camcorder. This is button you use to make all adjustments.
Then use your finger and touch the area which says Main Functions.
Touch the small Down Arrow to get to the next screen.
Now touch the Mic Level area on the screen.
On the next screen below you can adjust the level of the audio. Have a speaker start speaking at where they would normally talk and move the arrow keys so that the level is around the 12 level for most of their speech. When you are done click the white X to close the screen.
