Minutes of the last meeting: Approved with no changes.
Officer Reports: Vice President of Education Adam Kutell said that volunteers are needed to assist at the Area Contests in March. President Jerry Paul announced that he has appointed Carl Hendrickson as Parliamentarian for this term.
Committee Reports: None.
Old Business: The Club’s International Speech and Evaluation Contests will be held March 13. Steve Flick is the Contest Master and he announced that he seeking participants for Speakers (must have given at least six speeches by March 13) and Evaluators, as well as for the various participating roles. He announced that Carl Hendrickson will serve as the “test speaker” for the Evaluation Contest.
New Business: Former member Richard Hiers was voted in as a new member on motion by Matt Ramshaw, seconded by Steve Bettag.
Correspondence and Announcements: Max Kaiser, Jr. once again requested judges for Webster University’s Gorlock GALA on January 25, 26 and 27. Registration must be faxed in. Contact Max if interested. In addition to Max, Erin Gissel, Tom Terrific and Rob Van Winkle have expressed interests in judging one or more of the various contests. Many colleges will be participating, including some from Canada.
