Old Business:
Alan Kirby passed around a signup sheet for the contest on 8/31. The contest will be on humorous speeches and table topics.

New Business:
Toastmasters International is raising the yearly membership dues from $54 to $72. Adam Kutell suggested we raise the Southcounty Toastmasters dues from $33 to $40 to compensate for the increase. Brent will be sending out an updated budget to account for the increase in dues. Tom Terrific will update the website.
Motion was voted on to raise current 6 month dues from $33 to $39 and was passed.
When you receive an award from Toastmasters, please bring it in to the next meeting and we will have a formal presentation.
Please be aware of other members feelings when speaking.
