Kathy Denton, VP of Public Relations: Passed the “Toastmaster of the Year” tally sheet and said that the contest winners press release should be hitting the papers soon, so keep an eye out.

Erin Gissel: South County Toastmasters Picnic will be held April 23rd at Bee Tree Park in the Frisbee Shelter from 11:00 am until ???. Shelter is reserved for the entire day. The club will provide the main course, condiments, utensils, etc. A sign-up sheet was passed around with 17 members adding their names by the end of the meeting.
Diane Fawcett, VP of Membership: Announced the induction of Aidan Griffin. Induction ceremony was performed with Aidan’s mentor, Adam Kutell.

Carl Hendrickson reported that he has given 2 outside speeches lately, one last Wednesday, March 16th to parishioners of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church on “The Danger of Pornography” and the second this past Monday, March 21st to a local chapter of the AARP on “The Real Story of St. Patrick.”
Kevin Wilson, President: Reminded the club the Area 4 International Speech and Evaluation Contest will be held this Saturday March 26, 2011 starting at 10:00am at Twin Rivers Church. Kevin Wilson, Barb Sapienza and Mike Marion have volunteered to assist with the contest.
