Laura Zemann – Secretary: Made an announcement that the business portion of the meeting will be recorded in an attempt to keep better record of events.
Mike Marian – VP of Education: Club exchange with Crossroads Toastmasters Monday 2/28 7:30 am St Mark’s Church in Ballwin. Mike will send email with all the details. Crossroads members will attend SoCo TM March 2nd meeting.
Kathy Denton – VP of Public Relations: Check your local paper and one radio station for announcement for the upcoming International Speech & Evaluation Contest. Howard Brandt mentioned a photo he had seen in the South County Journal today.
Kathy Denton passed the tally sheet for “Toastmaster of the Year”.

Kevin Wilson – President: Since last week’s meeting was cancelled due to weather conditions, please keep those speakers in mind if you need a replacement speaker. (Joanne Korba, Don Wieland, Steve Flick and Howard Brandt)
Kevin Wilson – President: Preparations for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, a volunteer to coordinate is needed.
Induction of New Members: Don Wieland – assigned mentor Carl Hendrickson and Brian Ettling -assigned mentor Rob Van Winkle.
New Business:
Adam Kutell: Suggested more guidance for current or incoming VP of Education regarding possible prerequisites for club meeting role. Discussion was tabled until Adam Kutell can provide all members with his prepared documentation of suggested prerequisites. Petrina Monti stated the roles were at one time done by alphabetical order. Judy Sowers suggested alphabetical order was only for the prepared speeches portion of the meeting.
Correspondence & Announcements:
Petrina Monti announced that she will be speaking at the Rosicrucian Lodge on “The Power of Meditation” on 2/24/2011 at 7:15 pm. For more information contact Petrina.
Rob Van Winkle mentioned a 2 page article about Toastmasters International he found in Bloomberg Magazine. The article was passed around for all to see.
