Officers’ Reports (VP Ed, VP Membership, VP PR, Treasurer, Sgt-at-Arms, Officer at Large)
Barb is working on the Dec schedule and would like us to contact her with our requests for speaking or other roles. All agreed to not have a meeting on the week before and the week after Christmas. That is the 22nd and the 29th there will be no meeting.
Barb Sapienza, head of the Speakers Bureau announced that Max Kaiser Jr, gave 3 outside speeches facilitated through our SCTM Speakers Bureau, they were: “Historic Redevelopment in SW St. Louis Co: Good Potential and Good Community Focus” given at Crestwood-Sunset Hills Kiwanis. “History and Cultures of Greater St. Louis” was given at the Crestview Senior Residence Center and “Effective Food Pantry Relief is a Good Community Asset” was presented at The Society of St. Vincent DePaul.

Committee Report
Dick Shields reports there are 28 people signed up for the Holiday Party. He has the sign up sheet and will send it again or you can sign up on line. Dec 15 is the Holiday Party.
Webster University will host a speech contest on Dec 4th and welcomes Toastmasters to participate as judges. It is from 8am- 6pm although you will not be expected to be there the whole time. A free lunch is included. Speeches include; Debate, Oratory, Dramatic Interpretations, and Duet. Anyone interested please speak to Max Kaiser, or Email him at tmsk9111@yahoo.com
Carl Hendrickson will be speaking about Toastmasters Club at the Crestwood/Sunset Hills Rotary Club on Dec. 22.

Adam Kutell advised us that Sam’s club no longer has the DVD’s that we use. If any one knows a good place to buy them please let the Treasurer, Joe Archambault know.
Diane Fawcett, VP Membership presented Laurie Mestdagh for membership. A vote was taken and passed unanimously. Laurie’s mentor will be Steve Flick. Welcome Laurie Mestaugh!

In a public service announcement Tom Terrific informed us that Brendt Stewart will be selling mixed nuts for the Kiwanis Clubs annual fund raiser.
