VP PR, Laura Zemann, thanked Carl Hendrickson for submitting the Call newspaper article showing our installed officers.

Committee Reports:
Max Kaiser Jr. has distributed copies of the Speakers Bureau Brochure to the V.F.W. and the Sunset Hills Rotary Club.

Old Business:
Kathy Denton informed us that the old video camcorder is still under warrantee and can be fixed at no charge.
Kathy also announced that they have a used DVD Camcorder on sale for $100 at her store and made a proposal that we purchase it as a backup.
Discussion was had and President Reichardt called for a vote. The proposal was denied.
President Reichardt installed our newest member, Brenda McNaughton, who was voted in last week. Brenda’s mentor will be Barb Sapienza.

New Business:
Sue Dickemper stood in for VP Membership, to present Eric Richtin, a new applicant for membership. Sue motioned that we accept Eric’s application, Howard seconded the motion. President Reichardt called for a vote. The vote passed. Eric will be inducted next week. Eric’s mentor will be Joe Archambault

Correspondence & Announcements:
President Reichardt announced there will be a Speech Crafters class Aug. 25th –Oct. 13 at the St. Anthony’s Hyland Center.
Robert VanWinkle has received his Advanced Communicator Silver Award.
