* Results of Division Speech/Evaluation Contest = Don Clair, 2nd place in Speech; Erin Gissel, 3rd place, Evaluation.
* Announced at last Saturday’s contest that SCTM earned ribbons for gaining eight (8) new members and six (6) members earning Competent Communicator awards.
* Jefferson County Journal interviewed Alan Kirby’s German class last week (re, recent contest in which Seckman students placed first).
* Annual SCTM golf tournament/picnic – contact Dick Shields.
* National Day of Prayer (5/6/2010) – Chris Brown organizing local prayer breakfast @ Two Hearts Banquet Center, Gravois & Lindbergh. Event runs from 7:30-9:00 a.m., cost is $10/person.
* Tall Tales Contest coming to SCTM, 6/9/2010; details forthcoming.
* Long Chen was inducted into SCTM; mentor is Laura Zemann.
