NEW BUSINESS: Rich Ullrich mentioned that we had a guest in attendance who wanted to become a member. The applicant Diane Fawcett was introduced as having attended a few meetings recently. The new-member approval process was started by the various officers and she was inducted by the present members. Congratulations Diane!
CORRESPONDENCE & ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Rich Ullrich notified the secretary a few days after the meeting of the upcoming Toastmasters Division Fall Conference:
WHEN: NOVEMBER 20TH and 21ST
WHERE: CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL, CLAYTON , MO
WHO: ALL TOASTMASTERS and their spouses/significant others, friends and/or grown children
WANTED: ALL CLUBS IN DISTRICT 8- WE ARE LOOKING FOR CLUBS TO PUT TOGETHER THEME BASKETS TO BE AUCTIONED OFF BY SILENT AUCTION AT THE CONFERENCE. BE AS CREATIVE AS YOU LIKE!!
More will be forthcoming in the next few months. If you have never been to a Spring/Fall Conference or it has been a long time, now is your time!!!
