Committee Reports:
Nominating Committee: Debbie announced that she and Michelle comprise the Nominating Committee and are looking for officers for the next term which will run from January 1 to June 30. All roles are open. If you are interested contact Debbie or Michelle. Officers training is early December so we need to fill the offices as soon as possible.
Youth Leadership: Jim announced that our Club will be conducting a Youth Leadership Program for kids age 12-17 which will begin January 7, 2025. The sessions will start at 6:30 p.m. and run for 6 weeks here at the Community Center with graduation at our meeting. There will be no charge as the Optimist Club will pick up the cost of the room. Our priority will be kids who have not been through the program in the past. We will put out flyers here at the Community Center to promote it.
Unfinished Business:
New Business: Amy announced that we have membership applications from Donna Overmann and Fabi Club. Donna is a transfer from Webster Groves and has had previous Toastmasters experience. Fabi is an instructional designer, has previously been a Toastmaster and wants to improve her speaking skills. Moved (Debbie), Seconded (Rob) Passed to approve their membership applications.
JD read them the information about Toastmasters and welcomed them to the Club.
Correspondence and Announcements: Brent announced that he had seen Susan McConnell at Walnut Grill on Sunday and that he invited her to come to our Christmas Party.
