President Patrick Hunt asked if there were any corrections or additions to be made to the meeting minutes of November 11, 2021, hearing none, the minutes stand as posted.

Officers Reports:

• President Patrick Hunt: See the Committee Reports and Correspondence and Announcements below.
• VPE Bill Collier: 
  • Bill asked the members to get any scheduling requests for the month of December to him ASAP. 
  • Bill will be doing a toy drive again this year through his business. Please bring in a new, unwrapped toy to him or deliver it to his place of business. 
• VPPR Liz DeCamp: Liz will check with the Sunset Hills Community Center about publishing our meeting dates and times in their  directory and community newsletter. They publish these items from a January to December cycle so it is important that she discuss this with them during November. She has also started blogging on different social media sites. 
• VPM Sandy Roll: Planning for a special meeting for next year with a game show theme. “What’s My Line” is winning. Please get your vote in.
• Treasurer Brent Stewart: not present
• Secretary Jim Salih: no report
• Sgt-at-Arms JD Perper: no report

Committee reports – the nominating committee is working to find a new slate of officers for next term and it should be ready for announcement in time to meet our bylaw requirements. Let the committee of Patrick Hunt, Susan McConnell, and Sean Sheehan know if you want to run for office.

Correspondence or Announcements – 

• Vic Mattison presented an Outstanding Leadership Award from District 8 to Patrick Hunt for his work as Area 4 Director. 
• Debbie Young announced the December 4, 2021, District 8 TLI (Toastmaster Leadership Institute). This institute will have workshops for both incoming officers and any TM who wants to learn more about Toastmasters and leadership. Debbie has arranged for a gentleman from Switzerland to give a workshop on hybrid meetings using Zoom. He also has a Youtube channel with many informative videos. • Rob VanWinkle displayed the banner that the club received for qualifying for the President’s Distinguished Award for the past year. 
• Patrick reported that District 8 will allow any clubs in an TM area of 4 or fewer clubs to send 2 members to the Area contest.
