South County Toastmaster John Cleary passed away August 19th, 2021.
Excerpt from his obituary: John was a lover of words, both written and spoken. A prolific, talented writer and published author – John had a true passion and gift for writing. His command of the English language was rivaled only by his command of a room. As a member of South County Toastmasters – Club 1957, John was a skillful and eloquent orator who could hold his audience rapt. Most importantly, John will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and caring human being. John’s positive presence, wonderful sense of humor, friendly smile, and contagious laugh will be sorely missed by all his family and friends.
