Officers’ Reports: Officers:
  1. President – Jerry Paul asked if there were any changes to the minutes and hearing none, the minutes of last week’s meeting were approved as posted.
    • Rob VanWinkle brought the President’s Distinguished Award that was sent to his home.  The banner is at Jim Salih’s home so the award will be given to Jim to be added to the banner.
    • Jerry will schedule an executive meeting and send an invite to officers.
  2. VPE – Kat Higashino
    • Kat presented an education award to:

  4. VP-PR – Partick Hunt
      • Patrick sent out video release forms.  Please fill it out and send it back to Patrick if you would like to allow your 45 year video, or photos, to be used by Toastmasters.
  5. Secretary – Kathy Denton
    • Toastmasters TLI officer’s training is scheduled for January 9th.  New officers should reserve that date and attend if possible.  District 8 training page is at this link: https://dist8tm.org/training/

Committee Reports:
  1. Sean Sheehan reported for the Public Relations Committee on several topics:
    • The Crestwood Sunset Hills Chamber of Commerce will vote on the board of directors.  Our club is a member and gets a vote.  Sean made a motion that we vote in favor of the slate of board members and it passed.  Then he moved that Patrick Hunt submit our vote and that passed as well.
    • The PR committee drafted a letter to the Call Newspapers and they informed Sean that they will publish it sometime after the election.
    • Sunset Hills Chamber of Commerce will have a breakfast 11/12/2020 from 7:30 to 9 am.  Contact Sean for more information.
    • Patrick invited us to the Sunset Hills Community Center Luncheon on November 17th.  Contact Patrick for more information.
  2. Bill Collier reported that the Nominating Committee, made up of Bill Collier, Kathy Denton, and Jim Salih, is on our way to completing the slate of officers for the next term (Jan 1 through July 31).  One position, the Officer at Large, has yet to confirm.  Once the slate is filled the nominees will be read at upcoming meetings prior to being voted in.
