- We will have an officer’s meeting the first Wednesday of November (November 1st) at 6:30 at the Metlife building before the regular meeting. If you are an officer please plan on attending.
Committee Reports:
- Jim Bubash sent out an email asking for thoughts around dates and suggestions of venues. Please reach out to Jim with any suggestions you may have.
- First Wednesday of December looks like the best of as of now
Unfinished Business:
- We will have a tall tales contest on November 29, please reach out to contest chair, Sarah Pitkin, if you’d like to participate
- We are also in need of the following roles:
- Chief judge, 5 voting judges, tie breaking judge, 3 counters, 2 timers
- So far our only contestant is Carl Hendrickson

New Business:
- Motion for a secret Santa for the holiday party by Kate Schafroth
- Jim Bubash explained that we do have a white elephant gift exchange
- Motion passed that we will have a participatory secret Santa, coordinated by Kate Schafroth. If you’d like to participate, please reach out to Kate.
Announcements:
- Tim Sullivan announced that he got in touch with Jim Schaper who is going inactive for now, hoping to return in the spring
- One last meeting for youth leadership on November 7 at Achieve Wellness
- Youth Leadership graduation at the meeting on November 15 – we will have 5-6 youth leadership speakers and 2 active toastmasters speak that night
