Dick Shields – Treasurer Report: currently in the bank $2245.00 with $2395.00 a year ago.
Susan McConnell – Membership Report: currently 44 members and last year 41 members.

Dean Bone – Next month we have a 5th Wednesday, which could be a Speech Marathon. It could also be a contest but Dean will move forward if no one objects to have a Speech Marathon.
Rob Van Winkle – Will be mentoring a club, ‘Downtown Toastmasters’, which will meet Tuesdays 7-9. They are modeling themselves after South County Toastmasters; what works at South County will work here. It is at a marketing company near the entrance of 44 by Lafayette Square. Their first meeting as a prospective club will be this Tuesday. Right now they have about 10-15 members and will need 20+ to charter. It is a business type of Toastmasters, would suggest business causal attire.

Jim Bubash – Erin Kipp was unable to make the meeting tonight but would like to inform everyone that Her polo match has been rescheduled to August 29 due to all the rain. $20 a carload.
David Domain – The BBQ that was scheduled for this weekend is cancelled due to the amount of rain we have had.
