Treasurer Sudi Gopinath reminded members to have dues ($42) submitted to him in person or via mail by March 19th. Please bring a check or cash with you to the March 19th meeting or place in the mail by the end of the week please.
Two recent visitors are expected to join our club at the next meeting, March 19th!

District 8 Spring Conference, “A Toastmaster’s Chautauqua”, will be held at Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City on May 2-3, 2014. Matt Ramshaw has requested a proxy to vote on behalf of our club, at the conference, because he will be ministering the sacrament of marriage. Please contact Matt Ramshaw for details if interested.
Matt Ramshaw mentioned correspondence he received from Bobby Bostick who is a member of the Gavel Club; Correctional Institute in Licking MO. If anyone is interested in visiting this Gavel Club, please contact Matt Ramshaw.
Correspondence & Announcements:
Rob VanWinkle, Area 4 Governor, reminded us that the International Area Speech Contest is on March 22nd at the Tesson Ferry Branch County Library, 9920 Lin-Ferry Dr., St. Louis, MO, 63123, 314-994-3300. Contest will begin at 9:30 am. Please try to attend and support our members Alan Kirby and Erin Gissel in the contest!
Adam Kutell, Area Governor, thanked SCTM for helping at the Area 13 Speech Contest, on March 8th, at the main Library. In particular, he thanked Bill Collier for the trophies that were presented to the winners and to Sudi Gopinath for volunteering to be the pattern speaker.
President, Matt Ramshaw congratulated George Kiser for his 15 year Toastmaster anniversary! And recognized James Bubash for receiving his Competent Communicator certificate!
