EXECUTIVE SECTION

OFFICERS REPORT: None

COMMITTEE REPORT: None

OLD BUSINESS: None

NEW BUSINESS: James said that we are running short of the voter’s ballots and need to order new ones. The options are (a) to continue with the current ones
(b) to order the ones from Toastmasters International (TMI), a sample was presented by James
The TM International ballots are different, concise and smaller. They cost 12.95$ for an order of #500 (2.5 cents apiece). The current new ones are 348$ for 2500 (14 c apiece). There are a lot of advantages on the current ones. Discussions: Individual evals are helpful and the TMI ones have space for just 3 speakers. The TMI ones are also smaller in size restricting the space to write on. Some changes were made to the current form to accommodate for the order of our awards, and the current ones are changeable as we desire. Laurie mentioned gotprint.com does cheaper prints and perforation. James will check it out and report back. Until then the issue was tabled.(James already sent out a report about the price, etc via email to all club members)

CORRESPONDENCE AND ANNOUNCEMENTS: Shreya mentioned that we fared really well at the Division Contest and congrats to Matt and Erin. Tom mentioned that Turbobase has many jobs and the schedule online does not show the Competent Leader Evaluator (CLE) role. Erin’s email however, does show this role. Please be sure to check Erin’s email with the schedule. Turbobase has the CLE role in the notes section and not on the main schedule. So please keep an eye out for that in the future.

Carl Hendrickson is on his way to becoming an internet sensation via our blog! If you have a speech you think Toastmasters all over the world must listen to, please give a copy of the recording to Shreya or Tom and they will add it to our very own SCTM website / blog!
