COMMITTEE REPORT: We received our Presidents Distinguished Ribbon from Toastmasters International. Go SCTM!
NEW BUSINESS: Adam sent out an email for a proposal to have a Competent Leader Evaluator role at every meeting. The purpose is to have new members come over and get an evaluation for the CL Manual. Motion to have a CLE at forthcoming meetings. Adam volunteered to be a CLE for the contest week. Second by Carmen. It was voted on and approved that this role will be on record and someone will be appointed as a functionary in each meeting to accomplish this role.
CORRESPONDENCE AND ANNOUNCEMENTS: Area contest is on Sep 13th and Adam requested members to participate as functionaries. Shreya made an announcement on his behalf of Sudi to bring more people to support contestants at next week’s meeting. Also, Sudi is looking for people to function as an invocator, time keeper, and contest Sergeant at arms. Tonight was also Kathy Denton’s last meeting at SCTM. She thanked the members for the constant support and encouragement. She also promised that she will try to make it to a meeting whenever she gets a break from getting her degree in Cyber Security at Washington University. Kathy you will be missed! We can’t wait to see you graduate!
