EXECUTIVE SECTION
OFFICERS REPORT: James asked what to do with the old sign – Discard. Carmen informed that she announced the induction of executive committee at SCTM in various news websites Sunset Hills-Patch, Shrewsbery-Patch, Afton-Patch, and our meeting time will be announced on those websites each Wednesday in their calendars. She said that our WordPress, Facebook, LinkedIn will be made current and can be used as a mode of communication. Carl Hendrickson is appointed as a parliamentarian and chair of a search committee for a new location. We do not know at this time if the building will be sold and someone will keep us posted on the progress.
OLD BUSINESS: Carrie Driscoll was officially installed as VP Membership by Gina Willard to the newly inducted committee.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
CORRESPONDENCE AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Brian Ettling published an article on ecological advocacy in today’s St. Louis Post Dispatch s editorial section. Matt Ramshaw mentioned that there are still a few speaker slots let to be filled for the Tall Tales Contest. Vanessa Ostler got the job she interview for. Carrie Driscoll has done many presentations over the last few weeks and is thankful to toastmasters. Don Clair will be pitching his latest book to publishers this week. Tom Terrific reminded us that we can be a part of the e-zine on WordPress. Adam Kutell reminded everyone to read the evaluation training report, and would like to bring up the motions sometime in the next meeting.
