Old Business:
• Club Contest Chair – Steve Flick wanted to recognize Arch Engraving (Bill Collier) for the trophies. Also, the club recognizes the generosity extended on multiple occasions for the gifts of trophies in honor and celebration of Club Speech, Evaluation, and Table Topic contests – thank you Bill!
• Three (3) Speeches were given by Don Clair over the last week – Grand Manor, Illinois Department of Education, and at Our Lady of the Sorrows
• Carmen Wilkerson will be giving a speech to citizens of the N. Saint Louis County community of Uplands Park on March 30
• Vamsi Jamalakatta (Mentor: Steve Flick) was inducted into SCTM this evening
New Business:
• Max Kaiser, Jr. was inducted as a member to the Phi Kappa Delta Society, an International Organization dedicated to Public Speaking and Oratory by the Speech and Forensics Department of Webster University.
• Jerry Paul spoke with the Met Life Building Manager about our club and whether the club advertise to the occupants of the building; the Building Manager will allow the club to post flyers.
• Flyers will be made available for the upcoming Area 4 Contest to be held on April 6th (Saturday) at the Cliff Cave Branch, St. Louis County Library, on Telegraph Rd.
