The May 30th, 2012 meeting of South County Toastmasters was different from the usual format. The Tall Tales contest chaired by our very own Joanne Korba and Steve Bettag was held with participation from five speakers.
The contest was closely contested, with fantastic speeches by Adam Kutell, Kathy Denton, Howard Brandt, Steve Flick and Kevin Wilson. At the end of the day, only one could prevail and Kathy Denton took 1st place with Howard Brandt following close behind in 2nd place. Congratulations to our winners and a hearty thanks to all our participants and volunteers for making this such a successful event!
