Kathy Denton advised us that Toastmasters International approved the design of her sign and is now being processed.

New Business:
Laurie Mestdagh asked if anyone is going to do a contest at the end of May. Carl Hendrickson liked the idea of a Tall Tales Contest for the end of May. Joanne Korba asked that she and Steve Bettag put together a Tall Tales Contest scheduled at the end of May, motion was made and approved.

Kathy Denton our past president is still looking for officers for next term. Please email Kathy about the officer’s positions.
Kathy Denton suggested that at the 5th meeting of the month we have tables set up for members who have products or services to share can make them available for others.
Max Kaiser Jr. with our Speakers Bureau spoke at the Tesson Ferry Library (Library Speakers Series) this Wednesday afternoon April 18th @ 2:00 PM on “The Story of Jefferson Barracks”. Max also spoke on Thursday April 12th for the Rotary Club in Columbia, Illinois about “Creating Jobs and Opportunity in Southern Illinois”.
