Officers’ Reports (VP Ed, VP Membership, VP PR, Treasurer, Sgt-at-Arms, Officer at Large)
Laura Zemann VPPR circulated the work sheet that keeps track of roles performed at each meeting.  Each role is given points toward the Toastmaster of the Year award.  It’s up to each member to check the boxes that apply.
Becca Clark, Area Governor was in attendance for her Fall, site visit.  She requested a meeting of the Officers afterward.    ____________________________________________________________________________________________

Old Business:
Howard Brandt thanked all committees who helped with the 35th anniversary party and all who were able to attend.  Howard said that some who attended he had not seen for 10 or more years and maybe some will come back.

New Business:
Diane Fawcett, VP Ed, presented 3 candidates for membership, Ajay Panacol, Gary Rickert, and Rory Swift.  Howard Brandt motioned we accept the first nomination, Jack Bettag seconded. Brendt Stewart motioned we accept the second nomination, Jack Bettag seconded.  Laura Zemann motioned that we accept the third candidate, Erin Gissel seconded.  All three were voted in unanimously.  Welcome to our new Toastmasters.

Correspondence & Announcements:
Steve Stenger, County Councilman, awarded South County Toastmasters a Proclamation honoring our 35 years of providing residents with Leadership and Communication improvement programs at the Anniversary Party.

Closing remarks:
Kathy Denton informed us that her Jokemaster stories were read from the book “I Thought My Father Was God”, also the pictures from the 35th anniversary are posted on Word Press.
Max Kaiser advises us not to wait till Thanksgiving to make donations to food pantries as they are running bare.  Feed My People is in So. County, Circle of Concern in West County and St. Vincent DePaul is by parish.
