Officers’ Reports (VP Ed, VP Membership, VP PR, Treasurer, Sgt-at-Arms, Officer at Large)
Treasurer Joe Archambault requests that you see him by the end of the night if you need to pay your dues.  He is giving one last push to get all dues in by Friday.  He will send out an Email and make phone calls to those who have not signed up. __________________________________________________________________________________
Committee Reports:
Carl Hendrickson reported that the Education Committee will have the second mentor workshop Oct. 6th, at 6:30 before the regular meeting in the cafeteria.  There will be several presenters so it should be very helpful.
Barb Sapienza reports that Don Clair has offered to help with the speakers bureau.  Anyone else who would like to volunteer can speak to Barb Sapienza.  Congratulations to Don for joining the Bureau!
Howard Brandt would like to have all money in by the 10th of Oct. for  the 35th Anniversary Party.  29 people signed up so far.

New Business:
Dick shields reminded us that if we are going to have a Christmas party that we would have to book a place now.  He suggested mid Dec. at Fox Chase where we have had it in the past.  Everyone agreed that he should go ahead and reserve the space.

Correspondence & Announcements:
Barb Sapienza and Alan Kirby did a great job at the area contest and we are proud to announce that Barb won first place in the Table Topics category.  She will go on to the next round on Sat Oct 9th at 1:00 at the First Free Evangelical Church.
Alan Kirby has informed us that Nilsa Scott is doing better but still at St. Mary’s Hospital.  She is not ready for visitors.

Max Kaiser, Jr. reports that Webster Univ. will be sending their schedule for Oct., Nov., and Jan.  There are no firm dates yet; we will be notified when Max receives them.
Paul Ferguson and his wife McKinsey have just had their first baby, his name is Caden.  Congratulations to the new parents.
