Correction to previous minutes: Area Contest will be held at, The First Free Evangelical Church, from 1:00-4:00.
Minutes were read, corrected and accepted.
Officers’ Reports (VP Ed, VP Membership, VP PR, Treasurer, Sgt-at-Arms, Officer at Large)
Club Treasurer, Joe Archambault, informs us of the inception of dues renewal. A dues statement was given out for us to complete and mail back to him.
Barb Sapienza, VP of Education, is requesting us to communicate with her our project goals for the upcoming months so that she can have them in mind when making the calendar. ____________________________________________________________________________________________
Committee Reports:
Carl Hendrickson reported that the Education Committee will be having a Coaching and Mentoring workshop, Sept 22nd and Oct 6th, at 6:30 pm. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
Carl is also looking into clubs to participate in the Club Exchange Program for Oct or Nov. Each club will provide a Speaker as well as an Evaluator. ____________________________________________________________
Old Business:
Howard Brandt states that a flyer for the upcoming Anniversary Dinner has been prepared and distributed. It’s going to be a lot of fun!! Special thanks to Tom Terrific for the design of the flyer. Here is the invitation.

President Reichardt thanked Sue Dickemper for an outstanding job on the Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contest.

New Business:
Becka Clark, Area Governor, is looking for two volunteers to serve as judges or functionaries at the Area Contest, Sept 25th. Judges training will be Sat from 9:30-11:30.
A question was raised by Rob VanWinkle as to who would be eligible to serve as a judge as he had been turned down in the past. President Reichardt said that he would Email the Area Governor and get back to us. _________________________________________________________
